Create a Mobile Application for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry
Feb 22 2012: We have now added the ability to view Opportunities in the mobile app:

Aug 27 2010. We are working on the mobile app. One of the bigger themes from user comments in here is that we should support not just iPhone but a range of mobile devices. We think HTML5 is the way forward and we are currently prototyping with HTML5 frameworks to make sure we can get a native feel to the mobile application.
We’ll share more details when we have something to release or test.
Dec 23, 2010. We are getting very close to a beta release for the mobile app. I know there’s a lot of interest in this, so here’s what is confirmed:
1. it’s an HTML5 app
2. It synchronizes to a database on your phone so you can lookup and add contact details offline
3. it will support iPhone and Android phones initially. BB support MAY come later, but no promises. Windows mobile is looking unlikely given Microsoft’s lack of support for HTML5 so far.
We’ll update this again when it’s available as a beta release. It’s close.
Feb 16, 2011. The mobile app is in beta with a smal group of users. We’ll open it up to all users as soon as we can.
April 21, 2011. The beta is now open to everyone. Read our blog post with details on how to get started:

@Philippe The Capsule mobile app does work on Android as well. Have you tried it lately? If you're using a recent Android phone then try to use it in the Chrome browser - it should work best. If you run into any problems you can always email us at support@capsulecrm.com
Cheers!

We need an iPhone APP!!!!
I have to say the HTML5 app is useless. I have it on my homescreen, but NEVER use it for some real purpose. Something like Freshbooks app will be great. -

Another vote for native app!!!
Guys, mobile-optimized web app is very limited in a sense of user experience. We need a native app with push notifications of key events. -

@josef Szotten - Just a heads up, I think your platform is amazing. I just signed up 5 min ago because salesforce.com was too cluttered/confusing for some of my sales people to pick up.
Also, just for your own knowledge, Mailchimp.com was the one who directed me to your site. You both have similar platforms...anyways. Thanks.

I think you need a true app for better integration. Web-based is limited.

Why is it that this is the ONLY suggestion in the top 10 that you (Capsule staff) has even responded to in the last 6 months? It makes me seriously question whether or not Capsule is even still being actively developed. I am only posting the question here because it seems to be the only thread that anyone from Capsule is monitoring. Kindly advise and update at least the top 5 suggestions. Thanks in advance.

@Anton The mobile app should work just fine on the iPhone 5 as well. If you're having problems, please email support@capsulecrm.com and we'll help you out.

@Gordan Horbec The Capsule mobile app can't be found in the App store or in iTunes. Follow these instructions on how to get it:

@Anonymous What Android device do you have? We normally recommend the stock Android browser or Google Chrome for Android. If you're still having problem with either of those then please email support@capsulecrm.com and we'll help you out.

Is there a particular mobile browser version you recommend for Android devices ?
The one on my phone won't allow me to scroll on any screens on the Capsule App.

I understand your reason for going the HTML5 route...however, the current mobile app just does not work well. I have been using CapsuleCRM for a while now, and would like to continue to use it, however, I rely heavily on mobile devices. I never know if the mobile app is showing live data or cached data. It also never lets me know if it has uploaded changes I make. The majority of the time the changes I make on the app do not upload and I either have to retype my info in through the website or just take the hit of loosing the information. Some sort of timestamp could be a quick, however, I think many users agree with me when I say that a native app would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I will be forced to check out other mobile crm options, which is a shame.

Guys, have you looked at products such as Base CRM when considering what mobile option you should provide for your users. On a Nexus 7 this offers a simple and easy to use interface that is fast (if lacking functions of Capsule). I find with Capsule mobile I am constantly having to press several times to go forward and get back to main menu - Can we have at least a link back to the main options that is permanent please

Date picker for tasks and the like pleeeeeeezzzz OH pretty pleez! it's frustrating and sometimes impossible to add tasks or do things in the popup windows from a phone on the full site. The window goes all crazy and gets stuck and the save button is hard to press. And cases! The whole reason for mobile phone app is to be mobile and we have jobs/cases we need to update from the field.

Hi,
I have been using your mobile app and I am a bit frustrated with one aspect
of it and I wondered if there is a solution. When I add a task and select the due section to schedule it there is no
option for any dates. Only Today, tomorrow, next week or next month. Surely
this is a basic requirement.
If I am out and about and need to schedule something I need to schedule it not put it in bucket to do again later. -

One item I am desperately missing is the ability to view tags, data tags and custom fields in the mobile app. Is this in the pipeline?
