Feb 22 2012: We have now added the ability to view Opportunities in the mobile app:
    http://capsulecrm.com/blog/comments/bringing_opportunities_to_capsule_mobile

Aug 27 2010. We are working on the mobile app. One of the bigger themes from user comments in here is that we should support not just iPhone but a range of mobile devices. We think HTML5 is the way forward and we are currently prototyping with HTML5 frameworks to make sure we can get a native feel to the mobile application.

We’ll share more details when we have something to release or test.

Dec 23, 2010. We are getting very close to a beta release for the mobile app. I know there’s a lot of interest in this, so here’s what is confirmed:
    1. it’s an HTML5 app
    2. It synchronizes to a database on your phone so you can lookup and add contact details offline
    3. it will support iPhone and Android phones initially. BB support MAY come later, but no promises. Windows mobile is looking unlikely given Microsoft’s lack of support for HTML5 so far.

We’ll update this again when it’s available as a beta release. It’s close.

Feb 16, 2011. The mobile app is in beta with a smal group of users. We’ll open it up to all users as soon as we can.

April 21, 2011. The beta is now open to everyone. Read our blog post with details on how to get started:

Anxious for the Iphone app to come to life. Phone apps arre needed and almost a deal killer not having one.

Iphone app can't happen soon enough. Can't use this great application any other way.

is it going to be in the first half of the year or the second ? Im sure you could give us a date, pretty poor effort. This thread started over a year ago and all you can say its on the way

Use Capsule everyday and would be lost without it, so really looking forward to be able to use it on my Android.

Can't wait for the general beta to be released!

A couple of updates on the mobile app. I know a few of you are interested :)

        1. I'm looking for a small number of regular Capsule users with an iPhone or Android and who can investigate a bug or two to help us with the first phase of the beta test of the Capsule mobile app. If you'd like to help out, drop us an email on support@capsulecrm.com with your Capsule account details and phone model. We'll progress to a general beta for everyone as soon as we can, and my apologies in advance if we can't accept everyone who'd like access at this stage.

        2. Portable Pixels have released a 3rd party app for the iPhone and it's now available in the app store. This is a native iPhone web application with read-only access to Capsule: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/capsula-for-capsulecrm/id418110927?mt=8.

The Portable Pixels app is on the App Store, called Capsula, but is only a viewer of your data. You cannot add/edit using it.

Looking forward to the official version.

Very much looking forward to this, if you want me to beta test on Android 2.2 (HTC Desire), let me know, be glad to help out. I have my phone setup on my Google Apps domain, which I use for Capsule, will it hook into that in any way?

My firm would love to participate in a beta. Please let me know what is needed to qualify. Like many of the posts below, my firm employees live on their iPhones and are itching for mobile access.

given that blackberry is still the primary phone for small business it seems crazy that there will only be a iphone and android app. There needs to be a BB app, especially for the blackberry tablet

Yes, like the-deadline.com is a fine HTML5 solution. I removed my votes this time, because I need the votes. You started already to build the app or mobile website. So I look forward to your alert.

please make it platform independent, blackberry, android, iphone, symbian, windows... everybody needs it, not only iphone users ;-)

I'm happy to beta test if needs be. I'm a computer guy, and able to provide good feedback on the app so far.

all in all though, can't wait for the release.
