2-way synchronisation with Google Calendar
Currently you can view Capsule tasks in your Google Calendar http://support.capsulecrm.com/customer/portal/articles/178548
2-way synchronisation would allow Capsule tasks to be edited and completed in Google Calendar
I really need this please
Following to the previous comment, i've tried zapier. It could have been great but the integration is not fully accurate with capsule. Tasks are implemented on google calendar at the time you create it in capsule!! It doesn't take into account the due date time to put it in the right date of the calendar. Also it works only with quick event and not detail event because capsule didn't plan to integrate an "end date time" field.

This is already possible with a third party cloud integration app called Zapier. If anyone is interested in getting this to work let me know and I will show you how. It is quite easy to set up and is free if you don't create over 100 tasks a month.

That would make the integration between the contact and the diary activity seamless. Sooner the better!
Yes, yes, yes --- a must.

I also think you should be able to book out time and have two way syncing with a google calendar.
yes, ye, yes !!!
We need 2 way for outlook!! i'm sure that's already been said.. but we need it!! :-)
It'd be super hand to actually have a pop up / some kind of reminder.. The tasks just don't stand out enough to you really - if you set a task for a particular time to have the reminder (via calendar sync or other) would be awesome.
A lot of other cloud CRM packages now offer this very useful feature. I have been evaluating other packages lately and 2 way sync works very well. It is a feature that Capsule really should have.
It has been requested for years now. Others have proven it works. Why has capsule chosen not to implement this highly requested feature?

Being able to use the Google cal and tasks, with a full 2-way sync, would be a fantastic leap forward for Capsule. In my opinion the current ical subscription setup is a bit of a mess that isn't a satisfactorily solution to meet most peoples needs or expectations.
Like many of the other contributors to this post, I'd really like to know if this is something that's being worked on or even planned as a future update?

Hi Capsule, can you please update us by telling us what the status is for this customer request?
The alerts and reminders are too basic, simple 2 way sync with google cal will enhance capsule no end.
Tasks are a mess on a subscribers calender. tasks created outside of the capsule cal (therefore the inputter can't see other tasks placed for the same time), litter the subscription calendar and can't be moved (so as to become visible). You just get a series of blobs indicated at say 8am. Ok, you can see them in list view but its a pain on a handset and the real issue is you can't move them, can't set a new reminder alert etc.
I love capsule but if you aren't considering this 2 way cal sync I'm going to have to leave ahead of our sales team expansion. Base and Pipelinedeals look like my best option.
2-way-sync with Gmail would be very usefull.
It would also be handy to get pop-ups when tasks are due.
yes please. I'm looking around for something that can do this.. hoping you guys can sort it.
Sorry but I've started to look for another CRM solution. We need a more integrated solution with GApps and mobile devices. Without Calendar integration, Tasks and Meetings are not useful. Without Mobile app we cannot avoid this missing feature for tracking.
BTW, it's not clear for me what is Capsule Roadmap so cannot make plans.
Sorry guys...gotta leave..I need it to work with G Mail and the Calendar
Ditto to all....sync both ways. A way to add re-occurring tasks would be nice as well.
This should be standard operating procedure at this point
There is a new integration between Google Calendar and Capsule recently launched by Cloudwork. With this simple integration you can track all client meetings in Capsule CRM.
Hope it meet your needs and of course, feedback welcome.
